Mousseline et Crêpe Bulle

Available lightweight options include plain-dyed 100% polyester 75D chiffon and 100% polyester bubble chiffon/bubble crepe. The listed bubble chiffon construction has a weight of 125 gsm, a 75D specification and a width of 58–60 inches. These fabrics are best considered for decorative rather than high-load structural components. Choosing the Right Fabric for a Bag Program

For Lightweight Linings

Select polyester taffeta when low weight, smooth handling and efficient cutting are priorities. Density, coating, weight and opacity should be matched to the required lining quality.

For Water-Resistant Bags

Consider the 190T PU-coated polyester taffeta or another coated construction. Specify the required hydrostatic pressure, spray rating, seam construction and after-aging performance. A fabric described as waterproof does not automatically make the completed bag waterproof; needle holes, zippers and seams must also be engineered appropriately.

For Premium or Fashion-Led Interiors

Polyester satin, stretch satin and poly trilobal fabrics provide smoother surfaces and stronger visual luster. Printed satin can add branded artwork or decorative patterns inside handbags and cosmetic cases.

For Recycled-Content Collections
