Polyester Satin
Custom Made Polyester Satin in Bulk at Wholesale Price from Manufacturers
Polyester Satin Advantages
- Made from recycled polyester, nylon and cottons
- Shorter lead time
- Great prices
Polyester satin combines a smooth, lustrous face with a softer, duller reverse. Fine polyester yarns are arranged in a satin weave, allowing multiple weft yarns to float over the warp and create the fabric’s characteristic sheen, fluid drape and silky hand.
Compared with natural silk, polyester satin offers greater durability, easier care and more accessible pricing for volume production. Our collection includes solid, printed, stretch, recycled, crinkle, jacquard, waterproof and imitation-silk constructions for fashion, lingerie, sleepwear, linings, bridalwear, interior textiles and specialized applications.
Polyester Satin Properties
- Smooth, glossy surface on the face and a duller reverse
- Soft texture with a fluid, elegant drape
- Lightweight and durable
- Resistant to wrinkling and shrinkage
- Easy to wash, quick to dry and simple to maintain
- Available in solid colors, yarn-dyed effects and digital prints
- Offered in non-stretch and polyester-spandex stretch constructions
- Suitable for fashion, interiors, bedding and craft applications
- More affordable and scalable than natural silk satin
Exact performance depends on the yarn specification, fabric density, stretch-fiber percentage, dyeing method, print system and finishing package. Buyers should approve a physical sample and confirm the required technical specification before bulk production.
2024–2026 Fabric Regulations & Compliance Update
Polyester satin sold into apparel, accessories, upholstery, drapery, bedding or table-linen programs may be affected by both chemical restrictions and emerging product-data obligations. Compliance cannot be established from fiber composition alone; it must be evaluated against the finished fabric, its dyes, prints, coatings, water-repellent treatments, auxiliaries and intended market.
California AB 1817 has prohibited most new textile articles containing intentionally added PFAS since January 1, 2025 and applies a total organic fluorine threshold of 100 ppm, tightening to 50 ppm on January 1, 2027. This is particularly relevant to the listed waterproof satin and to any satin receiving stain-resistant, oil-repellent or water-repellent finishes. Buyers should request a product-specific certificate of compliance and appropriate finished-material testing instead of relying only on “C0,” “fluorine-free” or general certification claims.

The EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation entered into force on July 18, 2024, and textiles and apparel are included in the first ESPR Working Plan. Future product-specific rules and Digital Product Passport requirements are expected to increase demand for structured data covering fiber composition, recycled content, substances of concern, production stages and supporting conformity records. For recycled polyester satin, buyers should therefore build documentation around the actual order and shipment rather than treating a general supplier certificate as proof of a specific lot.

Regulatory conformity depends on the finished article, market, production lot and supporting evidence. Testing methods, restricted-substance requirements and documentation should be agreed before production.
